Shane McCarthy
Shane has several years of experience advising private clients and SME owners across all tax heads.
Shane is a Chartered Tax Adviser and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree from Trinity College Dublin. He is also an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Shane has worked with SME/Family Business owners in tailoring the most effective approach in terms of business disposals and retirement/succession/estate planning. He has also developed a specific expertise in advising employees in the FDI sector in relation to share options, relocation, and SARP.
This blend of experience is particularly useful to clients in the context of M&A and on standalone Taxation issues.
Ken McCarthy
Ken has over 25 years’ experience in the Accounting & Corporate Finance Sectors. He trained in the Corporate Finance department of Deloitte Limerick, where he worked on a variety of Due Diligence, M&A, and Corporate Restructuring assignments.
Ken also spent a number of years working in the US Private Equity Sector, first as a Senior Accountant for Blum Capital Partners, LP, in San Francisco, and then with Corporate Diligence Specialists (CDS), a boutique M&A and diligence expert, serving Private Equity firms across the US.
Prior to setting up SK Partners, Ken ran his own private practise for over 10 years, serving small and medium Irish business clients with all their financial requirements.
Ken holds a B. Comm. degree from University College Dublin, majoring in accounting.
